Had dinner here for Father's day, per my husbands request. The chicken was seasoned nicely but the breast was a little over cooked. The collards were "sweet". I didn't care for them. The service was good, the staff was friendly and my husband was happy though. Not a bad experience

Moist and delicious fried chicken: I didn’t realize Gus’s was part of a chain, but felt like a one-of-a-kind place. Everyone was super friendly. I think our server was named Jack. We dined inside, but a lot of folks getting chicken to-go. Gus’s chicken is super tasty, casual, friendly, cute place tucked away a block from Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. If you’re ever in the Chamblee area of Atlanta and you’re hungry for some delicious fried chicken, I recommend that you try it. I tried their Mac N’Cheese and Fried Okra with some ranch dressing on the side. The chicken is moist on the inside and has a nice and crunchy seasoning on the outside. My husband loves fried chicken and gives it a thumbs up also. Happened to be the area, so we found this place. Tea is good. Mixed mine with the unsweetened. Enjoy!

Was looking for a place to take out some food in the heart of Chamblee and found this gem. Rey was helpful on the phone but next time I’ll ask if there are any specials. Also, if I’m going to sit in dine, I want all staff wearing a mask — unmasked wait person becomes the transmission tool. Fortunately, I was taking with me. I won’t let this stop me from taking away their title… Yes, I believe this is world famous fried chicken. The chicken was moist and tasty. Spicy yes but nothing I can’t handle. The slaw and beans were great too. However, I’m gonna have to try the greens and Mac & cheese next time.
